IELTS
The International English Language Testing System or IELTS is a globally standardized examination for analyzing English Proficiency with regard to non-native speakers of the English language. It is the most widely used English language test for higher education and international migration in the world.
IELTS score criteria will vary by immigration body, university, workplace, or institution. The score you’ll need will be determined by what you want to do in the country, whether it’s work or study.
IELTS is tested in four sections: Speaking, writing, reading and listening.
PTE
Pearson test of English (PTE), is a test done to determine one’s proficiency in English before they are accepted to study or work abroad. PTE Academic measures your English speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in a single, short test.
There are two types of PTE:
PTE Academic for study and PTE General for work.
The test is divided in four sections; Speaking, Writing, Reading, Listening. PTE test is done in a single session, lasting around 2 hours 15 min which is taken sitting at a computer in a secure test environment. During the speaking part of the exam the voice is recorded and sent for marking. The test results typically come out in 48 hours.
GMAT
The Graduate Management Admission Test, or GMAT, is a business school entrance exam. It is used by most of the Business Schools to predict the performance of students applying to their programs. It includes a multiple-choice, computer-based and computer-adaptive standardized exam that is often required for admission to graduate business programs (MBA) globally.
